Yes, it is possible, not only wave B could be, but wave A-b also has such a possibility to overshadow the top of wave 5. It usually happens with extremely small wave A relative to the size of wave C or an expanded flat correction. Accutually, this erroneous concept was the result of Elliott's predisposition to counting a fifth wave externsion when in fact the third wave had extended.
